The Netherlands local time June 30, 2015, CCB (Europe) Amsterdam Branch held an opening ceremony celebration. Chairman of the CCB Supervisory Board Guo You, Mayor of Amsterdam, Eberhard van der Laan, Ambassador of the Chinese Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Chen Xu, Commissioner of The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) Jeroen Nijland and more than 200 esteemed guests attended the celebration.

The Amsterdam Branch is a wholly-owned subsidiary and operates under the bank license of CCB Europe. It is CCB Europe’s first Branch in the Netherlands. Amsterdam Branch holds a full-featured license, the initial business will be the main business, focusing on serving the domestic "going out" of large and medium-sized enterprise customers and local large-scale high-quality enterprises, especially with China's economic and trade investment close customers, to provide deposits, trade finance, international settlement, syndicated loans and other commercial banking business.

During the opening ceremony, Chairman Guo You said that in recent years bilateral relations between China and the Netherlands have become increasingly close and the mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, science and technology, energy, finance, education and tourism has made great progress. China is the Netherlands's largest trading partner and the second largest source of investment outside the EU. In 2014, Sino-Dutch trade has reached 86.5 billion US dollars with a growth of 5.7% over the same period; Chinese companies who did investment in the Netherlands have reached a high record of 10.97 billion euros. This has laid a good foundation for our future business development in the Netherlands. We attach great importance to the Dutch market and have established a business relationship with number of local banks in the Netherlands. For the future, Amsterdam Branch will be under the guidance and supervision of the regulatory body, adhering to the prudent compliance of the operating principles, and fully rely on the group's strong customer resources and institutional networks, to create management norms, first-class service, reputable financial institutions, to provide safety and convenience for Chinese and local customers with high quality and efficient financial services.

On the same day, we celebrated the opening ceremony in Paris. This indicates that we accelerate the business development in Europe and provide better all-round and integrated financial services for China-EU customers. This week, CCB Europe’s new Branches of Barcelona and ​​Milan will also hold an opening ceremony celebration.
